The Semedorato brewery

Beer stored in a sheltered and cool place for the Semedorato brewery in Caltanissetta, Sicily. The success of this beer, now worldwide, has required work to expand the factory. Thanks to Kopron industrial doors, logistics has been optimised. All the closures of this renovated production plant are signed by the leading Milanese company in solutions for industrial logistics. The Kopron work team designed and installed  high-speed doors  and  sectional doors  to guarantee safe, fast closures with an attractive design for the new settlement.

The models chosen: rapid doors and sectional doors

The five Kopron high-speed doors were created and used both to close the interior of the building and the exterior. They are optimal closures for optimizing company logistics flows, capable of improving traffic and time management as well as the climate of the rooms. The  “SMART” line of doors   installed was created to create fast, safe transits with an  excellent quality / price ratio. The  advantage of the model leads to rapid replay winding: the technology has an integrated anti-collision and anti-shock device which makes these high-speed doors flexible and particularly safe. In fact, in the event of a possible impact, the sheet of the high-speed door is able to re-enter its lateral guides. In the following closing cycle, the fabric automatically re-enters the self-guides, restoring its functioning.

For the new Semedorato extension, Kopron also designed, produced and installed  modern sectional doors  integrated with the structure. These open vertically by sliding upwards and are positioned parallel to the roof of the building with the aim of optimizing the other spaces. Unlike up-and-over doors, Kopron sectional doors offer about 15 cm more passage width. The sectional doors manufactured by Kopron are approved and certified according to the high safety requirements of the European standard 13241-1. The chosen covering panels give the idea of ​​a precious wood effect. The surface has a UV-resistant plastic film coating.

All models of industrial doors are skilfully developed and produced in the  Kopron Technological Pole dedicated to closures located in Bari . The design is rigorously tailor-made for each building, therefore ad hoc doors are guaranteed for specific needs.

Kopron sectional doors meet all the functional and safety requirements imposed by the European Directives and by the CEN standards, the European Standardization Committee.

The Semedorato brewery

Semedorato is the world’s Sicilian beer. Semedorato beer is recognized as more than good by every palate for its dense and full-bodied flavor that distinguishes it.

The brewery produces about 50,000 hectoliters of beer annually and is marketed not only in Italy, but also in Holland, France, Germany and Costa Rica. The company currently occupies an area of ​​about 1000 m2. indoor of which, 400 square meters. are used for the production plant and the remaining 600 sq. m. to offices.
